La Sconfitta delle Tenebre is a threshold of transformation. The textured surface, built up with acrylics, modelling paste and sand, holds a deep tension, like a skin passing through irreversible change.

White and black face each other in a primal balance, while red emerges as an essential sign of energy and passage. The work does not tell of a conflict but moves through it: the metamorphosis takes place within the material itself, in silence.

It does not celebrate the victory of light, but the moment in which shadow is transformed. In this held space, darkness does not disappear: it is converted. La Sconfitta delle Tenebre thus becomes a place of passage, where change is accomplished without fanfare, allowing a new form of presence to emerge.
