In Ashen Memory, the canvas becomes a relic of time, its muted tones of rope and earth evoking the residue of what once was.
The cracked surface, fragile yet resilient, speaks of forgotten stories etched into the material, like ashes that keep the echo of the fire.

Through its essential language, the work captures the paradox of memory: at once fleeting and eternal, fragile and indelible.
The absence of colour amplifies the presence of silence, inviting the viewer to face what remains after dissolution — the quiet resilience of being.

This painting is not merely a surface but a threshold: a passage between what is lost and what endures, a meditation on the traces time leaves within us.
