Fragment of Dawn is a fragment of primordial light held captive in the material. Crackle paste opens the surface into fine fissures, like land parched by time, while sand settles in irregular veins that hold the memory of the earth. Gold leaf rises from the cracks like an ancient glow — a remnant of origin that resists the darkness.

The work lives on the border between destruction and birth: a point where what has been dissolves and what is about to emerge vibrates beneath the skin of the painting. In this essential space, every crack is a breath, every spark of gold a promise.

Fragment of Dawn invites you to sense the exact moment when light finds the strength to be reborn from silence — like a distant echo of the very first morning, still resonating at the heart of the material.
